Job Title: | Administration Assistant |
Days/Hours: | Approx 40 hours per week, 5 day week, schedule to be arranged |
- Able to work under pressure. Some office experience required.
- GPA 3.0+ in Applied Math, Business, Economics, or Accounting.
- A variety of operational and administrative duties, including:
- Air freight tracking;
- Import/export paperwork;
- Knowledge of tropical fish or air freight operations helpful but not necessary. Ability to speak Spanish is also helpful.

- Excellent writing skills: need to clearly and concisely communicate complex techniques.
- Very detail-oriented person who can succinctly explain detailed needs to a wide variety of people.
- Bachelor’s degree required: GPA 3.0+ in English, Composition, Communications, Rhetoric, or related field.
- Some logistics background is helpful but not required.
- Provides technical support by producing technical documentation for internal users, customers and international suppliers on how to effectively use our customized web-based applications.
- Writes technical specifications for web interface.
- Communicates in writing with various government agencies, such as U.S. Department of Fish and Wildlife, U.S. Department of Agriculture, and U.S. Department of Homeland Security, in the course of our import and export operations.
- Knowledge of import/export or air freight operations helpful but not necessary.
- Ability to communicate in Chinese and/or Spanish is a huge plus.
